Takeda is committed to support patients with gastrointestinal conditions such as short bowel syndrome (SBS). myPNtracker was developed in collaboration with SBS experts as a diary tracking application to assist people who require parenteral nutrition support.
For patients with SBS, tracking and managing health and parenteral nutrition is essential.
myPNtracker allows patients or caregivers to collect information and monitor changes quickly and easily. Collecting this data may help patients take an active role in the management of their condition.

Healthcare professionals can register on myPNtracker.ca to monitor a patient’s progress, if the patient decides to share their data with them (optional feature).
myPNtracker is available internationally for use in a variety of languages including English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.
Technical details:
Patients have complete control over whether or not data is shared, and with whom it is shared. For added security all data is encrypted and the app has an added passcode security layer on top of the security features of the mobile device.
The app also includes a reminder feature to track appointments with healthcare professionals, reminders to take medications and to make regular data entries.
Any resulting information provided by the Application is not intended to replace the professional judgment of the caring physician, pharmacist or other qualified healthcare professional that is responsible for managing the User’s condition.
Information for Healthcare Professionals
If patients using the myPNtracker app decide to share their data, healthcare professionals (HCPs) can view their patient’s data from the myPNtracker.ca website.
myPNtracker may allow you or your coordination nurse to see reports related to your patients’ nutritional health between visits, providing these patients have chosen to share their data with you (optional feature).
